St. Laurence is a Catholic college preparatory high school rooted in the Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education. In 2018, St. Laurence released updated branding to represent the modern St. Laurence. A centerpiece of the re-brand was the new shield logo. The shield is representative of the school’s Viking identity – just as a shield defends in battle, it represents our commitment to Defending the Glory, one of the key lines of the St. Laurence fight song.

The shield’s chevrons – which are military symbols of rank, honor and achievement – each have special meanings, representing one of the core values of a St. Laurence student.
